How to Make a Cannabis Infused Mocktails
Cannabis infused mocktails are my favourite way to enjoy cannabis, especially at social gatherings. Ever since I’ve reduced my alcohol consumption, I find myself gravitating towards cannabis beverages instead. The best thing about infused beverages is that I don’t get a hangover next day, but I can still get similar effects from drinking alcohol (ie. feeling “tipsy”, less anxious, more social, etc). Anytime I get invited to a party now where there will be drinking involved, I always like to bring a few cannabis infused beverages with me so that I have something to drink — and don’t feel obligated to drink alcohol.
There are many different ways to make cannabis infused beverages, but the easiest way is to simply purchase a cannabis infused beverage from the dispensary. However, I find that most of these commercially made infused beverages often contain absurd amounts of sugar and random filler ingredients. Another way to make cannabis infused mocktails is to use cannabis infused oil (which only works for beverages that have a milk/mylk in them), dissolvable cannabis powder (which is water soluble), or getting a cannabis infused sparkling water which then can be used to make a mixed drink with other ingredients.
In this recipe, I will teach you how to make a cannabis infused beverage using an infused sparkling beverage purchased from the dispensary. If you don’t have access to a dispensary, sub out the infused sparkling water for regular sparkling water, and use my dissolvable cannabis powder instead for the cannabis infusion.

Cannabis Infused Sparkling Champagne Mocktail
Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- 1 tbsp lavender syrup
- 355 ml cannabis infused sparkling water
- Ice cubes
- Dried lavender or thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Using a paring knife, peel the skin off the lemon to create a decorative garnish.
- Place ice cubes to a cocktail mixing glass or shaker.
- Cut the lemon in half and squeeze all the lemon juice into the mixing glass.
- Add lavender syrup to the lemon juice and stir well.
- Pour the sweet syrup into a cocktail glass or a coupe.
- Pour the cannabis infused sparkling beverage into the glass.
- Garnish with the lemon peel and dried lavender/thyme.
- For extra zest, grate some lemon zest on top of the beverage.
