How To Make A Cannabis Infused Matcha Latte
Matcha lattes are one of my favourite beverages to enjoy on a hot or cold day. Matcha is full of antioxidants and also contains caffeine, but provides a more calming caffeine experience than coffee. I especially love to infuse my matcha lattes with cannabis oil! Because matcha lattes are made with a fat based milk (dairy free or regular milk), it makes it super easy to infuse cannabis oil in to the beverage.

Ingredients and Substitutions
Ceremonial Matcha Powder: Alot of food blogs will say that for drinks, you can use food-grade matcha powder. However, I much prefer ceremonial matcha powder, even though it is much more expensive. I find that food-grade matcha powder has no matcha taste and it often has a greenish brown colour, rather than a vibrant lust green colour.
Dairy Free Milk: Any kind of milk will work for this recipe. As long as your milk or mylk contain fat in it, as that is what’s going to bind to the cannabinoids. For matcha lattes, I like to use oat or soy milk. I also recommend using an unsweetened milk because they’re usually sweetened with cane syrup which is a very processed form of sugar.
Maple Syrup: This natural sweetener is totally optional but I find that I have to use it because matcha can be pretty bitter. If you don’t have maple syrup, you can also use stevia or monkfruit.
Cannabis Oil: Any cannabis oil will work for this recipe. You can use THC or CBD or a combination of both.
