Cannabis Infused Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 400 gram potatoes of choice
- 100 grams of melted regular butter
- 50 grams of melted cannabutter
- ½ cup chives or green onion
- ½ cup cream or half-and-half cream
- Salt and pepper
- Optional: garlic powder
Instructions
- Wash potatoes and bring a large pot of water to boil.
- Salt the water and add the potatoes. Optional: skin the potatoes if you wish but I personally like to keep it for extra fibre and texture in the mashed potato.
- Boil the potatoes until they are soft. Once finished, strain the potatoes from the water.
- Add the potatoes to a large mixing bowl and add the melted butter and cannabutter along with the cream. Mash together until the potatoes are soft and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper, and garlic powder (optional).
- Cut chives or green onion into small slivers garnish with the potatoes and mix well. Chives are a traditional garnish for mashed potatoes but I like to use green onion for a more Asian style mashed potato.
